Information on the case from local sources, may or may not be correct : Phong was a foreign exchange student at Manhattan College in the New York City borough of the Bronx at the time of her disappearance, and lived in a college dormitory. She was last seen by her roommate at 1:00 p.m. on January 14, 2019. She has never been heard from again. Few details are available in her case.

A missing person is a person who has disappeared and whose status as alive or dead cannot be confirmed as their location and condition are not known.
