Distinguishing characteristics, birthmarks, tattoos : Caucasian female. Brown hair, brown eyes. Young has a tattoo of a rose on her left arm and a tattoo of a butterfly on her left ankle. Her nickname is Silver.





Information on the case from local sources, may or may not be correct : Young was last seen in Sulphur, Louisiana on March 29, 1986. Her live-in boyfriend reported her missing and said she left their house after an argument and never returned. He said she was last seen walking down Evelyn Street, where they lived, at about 3:00 a.m.
Young is described as a wanderer who often traveled far from home. She left a six-month-old daughter behind. She's originally from Florida.
Authorities are uncertain as to what happened to Young, although in 2004 they did receive a tip that she was murdered around the time of her disappearance. Her case remains unsolved.

A missing person is a person who has disappeared and whose status as alive or dead cannot be confirmed as their location and condition are not known. A person may go missing through a voluntary disappearance, or else due to an accident, crime, death in a location where they cannot be found (such as at sea), or many other reasons. In most parts of the world, a missing person will usually be found quickly. While criminal abductions are some of the most widely reported missing person cases, these account for only 2�5% of missing children in Europe.
