Distinguishing characteristics, birthmarks, tattoos : Caucasian male. Brown hair, brown eyes. Wilborne's hair was shoulder-length at the time of his disappearance, and he had a mustache.





Information on the case from local sources, may or may not be correct : Wilborne was last seen off the coast of North Carolina at Cape Lookout on November 29, 2003. He was in a 21-foot boat with another man when it capsized. The other passenger was rescued and the boat washed ashore, but Wilborne disappeared and has never been heard from again. He is presumed lost at sea.

A missing person is a person who has disappeared and whose status as alive or dead cannot be confirmed as their location and condition are not known. A person may go missing through a voluntary disappearance, or else due to an accident, crime, death in a location where they cannot be found (such as at sea), or many other reasons.
