Missing Ricky Lynn Nelms

Brown hair. Information on the case from local sources, may or may not be correct : Nelms left his parents' Moulton, Alabama home in January 1988 and traveled to Wichita, Kansas with a friend to take a job as a roofer. His parents last had contact with him when he called home sometime in February 1988. Nelms has never been heard from again. It wasn't unusual for him to be out of touch with his family for months at a time, so he wasn't reported missing until July 18 of that year. Authorities have received tips that Nelms was murdered and his body buried in Wichita. His mother believes he's deceased. His case remains unsolved. Alabama police are investigating.
