Information on the case from local sources, may or may not be correct : Archie was last seen in Jemison, Alabama on December 19, 2001. He left his residence and went for a walk on Chilton County Road 785, and never returned. An extensive search of the area turned up no indication of his whereabouts, and a report that he went to Mexico didn't yield any results. His case remains unsolved.

A missing person is a person who has disappeared and whose status as alive or dead cannot be confirmed as their location and condition are not known. A person may go missing through a voluntary disappearance, or else due to an accident, crime, death in a location where they cannot be found (such as at sea), or many other reasons.
